Start A ProjectEnvisioned as a weekend retreat in New York’s Hudson Valley, this 25,000-square-foot estate combines the sophistication of a boutique hotel with the warmth and intimacy of a family home. Refined luxury meets effortless comfort throughout, creating inviting spaces equally suited to quiet family moments and grand-scale entertaining.

Inspired by the gracious rhythm of exceptional hospitality design, the interiors embrace a rich architectural language defined by polished Venetian plaster, handcrafted Italian mosaic tile, sculptural lighting, and carefully considered detailing. Art Deco influences appear throughout the home in bold geometry, elegant proportions, and moments of drama, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens that feels timeless rather than nostalgic.

At the heart of daily life, a generous kitchen pairs warm wood, dramatic statement chandeliers and Fornasetti accents.
In the grand dining room, a dramatic, branch-like chandelier commands attention above the expansive dining table. Every detail was considered to create a sense of grandeur and occasion, setting the stage for unforgettable gatherings and celebrations.

The primary bedroom draws heavily from Art Deco influences, combining the glamour of the era with a soft, restrained palette of ivory and silver. A sketch to show how the custom Lucite and polished nickel headboard were conceived.
A dramatic contrast unfolds at the entrance of the room, where richly textured black wall covering provides a striking backdrop for Andy Warhol's vibrant portrait of Annie Oakley. A cascading crystal chandelier and elegant arched doorway evoke the glamour of the Art Deco era, offering a bold introduction to the serene, light-filled bedroom beyond.

A custom dressing room and spa-like bathroom continue the hospitality spirit. An intricate Italian glass mosaic butterfly mural and sculptural stone bathtub showcase the artistry and bespoke detailing woven throughout the residence.

Rather than replicating the experience of a luxury hotel, the residence captures its emotional qualities: effortless hospitality and a sense of retreat.
