Start A Project

Since starting her eponymous firm in 2009, Daun Curry’s interiors projects have spanned the U.S., ranging from luxurious loft-like penthouses in New York City and Las Vegas, to season-ready Hamptons homes, and beach-side getaways in California, each spelling a narrative rich in layers and nuances and illustrating an uncommonly astute exploration of form and function.

From the glamour of Art Deco, the playfulness and innovation of the 1960s, the refined bohemian of the 70s, the bold geometry of the 80s, and the textures and natural materials of the 90s, each design is carefully curated yet tailored to perfection. While Curry is known for incorporating unique finishes, textures, and materials that enhance the delicate balance between shapes, color, light, and shade, the clients’ history and lifestyle remains the impetus for each design.

Today, Curry’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Vogue, which cited her as an “interiors talent to watch,” early on in her career, The Wall Street Journal, and Elle Décor, to name a few. Her clients range from notable brands to influential individuals, including: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Sotheby’s, Morgans Hotel Group, Moroccanoil, Jemma Wynne, Naomi Watts and YouTube star Casey Neistat.

Curry has also been honored as a four-time nominee of the Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award, cinching the highly sought-after honor in 2019 to much acclaim. The distinction is a rare one, while the iconic British brand pioneered cross-cultural dialogue with the launch of the award in 1996, it remains one of the most highly regarded distinctions that unites a global group of design luminaries.

Design is an intuitive exercise for Curry, she continues to push until the design is just right. A Parsons School of Design graduate, Curry’s fascination with nature, specifically the idea of transformation, dictates her designs, with an eye honed by years of experience freelancing in both fashion and interiors. The delayed gratification of seeing a design vision come to fruition, months and sometimes years later, is the moment she lives for. Curry takes risks, flirts with going over the top, yet always stands just back from the edge. When not running from project to project, Daun can be found in her ultra-chic office space in New York’s NoHo neighborhood or enjoying time at home with her husband Bryan, daughter Lyla, and their beloved dog, Rocky.
